2009 Hawaii Medal of Honor Ceremony On Tuesday, March 31, 2009, the Legislature honored and celebrated the lives of those courageous men and women with Hawaii ties who gave their lives fighting for our country. The Hawaii Medal of Honor was presented to the families of these heroes at this ceremony. (photos)

2009 Agriculture Day at the State Capitol Hawaii's agricultural industry was well represented at the 2009 Agriculture Day at the Capitol. Fresh fruits, vegetables, cut flowers, and many other locally-grown products were featured. Proceeds from the sale of products benefited the Hawaii Food Bank. (photos) |
