SB 290 SD1  RELATING TO HOUSING                               GOH, WAM
           Requires that 50% of  expended funds from the homes
           and dwelling unit revolving funds shall be used for
           families at or below 30% of the area median income.

SB 285 SD1  RELATING TO CONDOMINIUM PROPERTY REGIMES          GOH, WAM
           Allows condominium  associations  to  negotiate and
           effectuate the fee purchase for their condominium.

SB 805     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE RESIDENTS      GOH/WLH,WAM
           OF MAUNALAHA SUBDIVISION
           Appropriates funds  for infrastructure improvements
           for   lessees   of   the   Maunalaha   subdivision.

SB 98      MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE KIKALA-        WLH/GOH,WAM
           KEOKEA SELF HELP PROJECT
           Appropriates  approximately   $2.854  million  from
           general funds for the  self help housing project in
           Kalapana.  (LEVIN)

decision making on SB 805 and SB 98 on Wednesday, February 17, 1999 at 2:00
p.m. in conference room 225.)


SB 1073    RELATING TO CONDOMINIUM PROPERTY REGIMES       GOH/TIA,WAM
           Requires condominiums to  conform to county zoning.

SB 975     RELATING TO HARBORS                            TIA/GOH,WAM
           Allows  harbors  division   to   enter  into  cost-
           reimbursement contracts with private developers for
           public improvements.  (KAWAMOTO)

(Please note:  The Committee on Transportation and Intergovernmental
Affairs held decision making on SB 1073 and SB 975 on Tuesday, February 16,
1999).

 


 
SB 1153    RELATING TO THE EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING        LRE/GOH,WAM
           FUND PROGRAM
           Exempts  the  employment  and  training  fund  from
           grants-in-aid   and    procurement   laws;   timely
           expenditure of funds.  (MIZUGUCHI BR)

making on SB 1153 on Thursday, February 18, 1999 at 1:15 p.m. in conference
room 225.)
