SB 2348       RELATING TO MUNICIPAL SERVICES               TIA/GOH,WAM
           Requires  counties   to   provide   same  municipal
           services  to  condominium  and  cooperative housing
           corporation communities  as  those already provided
           to residents of  residential property. Appropriates
           $ for county mandates. (Fukunaga, Ihara, Tam)

SB 2132       RELATING TO THE HAWAII PROCUREMENT CODE      TIA/GOH,WAM
           Defines "state  contractor," "state subcontractor,"
           and "state resident";  increases the bid preference
           to state residents. (Kawamoto)

SCR 18        URGING MILITARY AND FEDERAL AGENCIES TO      TIA/GOH,WAM
           HONOR THE DEFINITION OF STATE RESIDENT FOR
           CONTRACTS

SB 2015       RELATING TO SURVEYING                        TIA/GOH,WAM
           Transfers all  rights,  powers,  functions, duties,
           appropriations,  records,  and   equipment  of  the
           survey  division  and   the  cadastral  engineering
           section  in   the   department  of  transportation,
           highways division  (TRN  595)  to  the  land survey
           division  of  the   department  of  accounting  and
           general services (AGS 211). (Tam)

Affairs held its decision making on these measures on February 15,
2000.)


SB 2616       RELATING TO PREFERENCE TO OFFERORS ON        GOH/TIA,WAM
           COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTS
           Authorizes  the  counties  to  give  preference  to
           county taxpayers on  county public works contracts.
