SB 2444  MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR TREATMENT OF VICTIMS OF
        INTRAFAMILIAL CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE           HHS, WAM
        Appropriation for the treatment of non-CPS child
        sexual assault victims.

SB 2445  RELATING TO THE HAWAII CHILDREN'S TRUST FUND  HHS, WAM
        Requires B&F to dedicate a percent of the general fund
        each year for 5 years to the Trust Fund, private match
        required.

SB 2446  MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE PROTECTION OF 
        CHILDREN AND FAMILIES                      HHS, WAM
        Appropriates funds to various programs and services.

SB 2447  RELATING TO EARLY CHILDHOOD                HHS, WAM
        Improves the affordability, accessibility, and quality
        of early childhood services.

SB 2456  MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR BLUEPRINT 
        FOR CHANGE                                 HHS, WAM

 
        Appropriation for the Neighborhood Place program of
        DHS diversion services and child protective services.



SB 2460  RELATING TO EARLY CHILDHOOD                HHS, WAM
        Early childhood screening at age 3.

SB 2608  RELATING TO CHILD CARE                     HHS, WAM
        Establishes an employer-provided child care program
        corporate income tax credit.                          

SB 2700  MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR STATEWIDE PRENATAL
        OUTREACH                                   HHS, WAM
        Appropriates $150,000 for statewide coordinator
        program.

SB 3019  MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE HEALTHY 
        START PROGRAM                              HHS, WAM
        Appropriates $5,700,000 to Health State Porgram.

SB 2075  MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE GOOD BEGINNINGS
        ALLIANCE                                   HHS, WAM
        Appropriates $150,000 for Good Beginnings Alliance;
        reqires matching funds from private sector.

SB 2457  RELATING TO HAWAII TOBACCO SETTLEMENT MONEYS  HHS, WAM
        Prohibits supplanting or diminishing of funds from DOH
        budget through tobacco settlement moneys; allows non-
        profit entity to spend principal of funds; clarifies
        appropriation period.

SB 2496  RELATING TO HAWAII TOBACCO SETTLEMENT MONEYS  HHS, WAM
        Changes percent of funds to emergency and budget
        reserve fund; allocates funding to DOH and DHS for
        early childhood education and youth programs and
        substance abuse treatment for pregnant women, families
        and teens.

SB 2493  MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SUBSTANCE      HHS, WAM
        ABUSE TREATMENT SERVICES
        Appropriates funds to DOH and DHS for substance abuse
        treatment services for teenagers, pregnant women,
        babies, and families involved with CPS.

SB 2486  RELATING TO TAXATION                       HHS, WAM
        Cigarettes stamp tax.

SB 2034  RELATING TO THE INCOME TAX CREDIT FOR CHILD
        AND DEPENDENT CARE EXPENSES                HHS, WAM

 
 
 
        Allows married couples filing separately to claim         child care tax credit.

SB 2596  RELATING TO CHILD CUSTODY                  HHS, JDC
        Substitutes term "parenting time".

228, State Capitol, 24 hours prior to the hearing. Testimony may
also be faxed if less than 5 pages in length, to the Senate

for neighbor islands), at least 24 hours prior to the hearing.
When faxing, please indicate to whom the testimony is being
submitted, the date and time of the hearing, and the required
number of copies needed for submittal.

interpreter, wheelchair accessibility, or parking designated for
