Your Committees on Economic Development and Technology and Water, Land, Energy and Environment, to which was referred S.B. No. 691 entitled:
"A BILL FOR AN ACT RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT OF AN OCEAN PARK AT KAKAAKO,"

The purpose of this measure is to appropriate $400,000 for the development of an ocean park at Kakaako.
Your Committees received testimony in favor of this measure from the Hawaii Community Development Authority.
Your Committees find that an ocean park at Kakaako will have a positive impact on Hawaii's economy.
As affirmed by the records of votes of the members of your Committees on Economic Development and Technology and Water, Land, Energy and Environment that are attached to this report, your Committees are in accord with the intent and purpose of S.B. No. 691 and recommend that it pass Second Reading and be referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.
