RELATING TO OPTOMETRY.

Repeals joint formulary advisory committee; allows therapeutically certified optometrists to prescribe and use all pharmaceuticals authorized by optometry board, not just those topically applied, but prohibits use of injectables. (HB223 HD1)

RELATING TO SEXUAL ASSAULT.

Provides that adults who are 5 years or more older than a minor cannot have sex with that minor known to be of 14 years of age or of 15 years of age, if the actor is not legally married to that minor. (HB236 HD1)

RELATING TO YOUTH SERVICES.

Clarifies the services of youth services centers. Appropriates funds for youth services centers, including the Hookala diversion lock-up program. (HD1)

RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF SPECIAL PURPOSE REVENUE BONDS TO ASSIST NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATIONS THAT PROVIDE HEALTH CARE FACILITIES.

Authorizes $142,000,000 in SPRB for the Kahala Senior Living Community.

RELATING TO SPECIAL PURPOSE REVENUE BONDS FOR AN INTERGENERATIONAL CARE CENTER AT EWA VILLAGES.

RELATING TO TOBACCO.

Designates as illegal any package of cigarettes that bears a brand name that is a registered trademark of a participating manufacturer and the package was imported by anyone other than the participating manufacturer. Establishes a criminal offense for any person to affix any cigarette stamp to the package of any cigarettes that are illegal or altered. (HB518 HD1) (SB 994, SD1)
