RELATING to the women in military service for america memorial.

Appropriates $25,000 to the department of defense to enable the State of Hawaii to make a donation on behalf of the Women in Military Service for America Memorial in Arlington National Cemetery.

RELATING TO CORRECTIONS.

Requires adult women charged with or convicted of crimes and juvenile females adjudicated for offenses that would be crimes if committed by an adult or who are adjudicated delinquents, to be provided a range and quality of programming substantially equivalent to the range and quality offered to males.

RELATING TO CORRECTIONS.

Requires the department of public safety to develop and implement gender-specific community-based programs for women offenders to achieve gender equity in correctional programming.

Authorizes courts and the paroling authority to require persons convicted of sex offenses against children to obtain psychiatric or psychological therapy upon the completion of their terms of imprisonment.
