RELATING TO THE FARMERS' MARKET NUTRITION PROGRAM.

Appropriates $210,000 matching funds to implement a farmers’ market nutrition program in Hawaii under the guidelines established by the United States Department of Agriculture.

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR PAPAYA RESEARCH.

Appropriates funds to research micropropagation and performance of the top papaya lines.

RELATING TO THE MOLOKAI IRRIGATION SYSTEM.

Increases the appropriation ceiling of the Molokai Irrigation System revolving fund by $1. Issues revenue bonds in the sum of $1 to implement the recommendations of the Hawaii Agriculture Research Center to the Molokai Irrigation System to develop new water sources, improve the current system, and conduct management actions.

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AGRICULTURAL WATER DEVELOPMENT.

Appropriates $45,000,000 for agricultural water development; restricts $5,000,000 for federal aid financing or reimbursement.

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE CONTROL OF FIREWEED.

Appropriates $50,000 to implement short-term methods for the control of fireweed.

Appropriates funds for research on taro disease and related problems.
