Provides a consistent fee structure for permits relating to burial and disinterment administered by the DOH. Provides funds to help automate and modernize the process of registering death events. Provides a more streamline, efficient and convenient process for registering and recording births and deaths occurring in the State.

RELATING TO VITAL STATISTICS

Creates a task force to explore different options to have access to vital statistic records to prove ancestry. Appropriates funds to be used to receive matching funds.

RELATING TO HOSPITALS

Requires hospitals to provide security of personal effects belonging to a patient that are necessary for the patients's health and well-being, including dentures, glasses, hearing aids, walking devices and prostheses.

Allows a person, a person's guardian, or agent, or surrogate with legal authority, to make health-care decisions on behalf of the person to allow withholding cardiac resuscitation and artificial breathing or to revoke CCO-DNR documents.

Establishes the public health nursing services special fund for case management services in the public health nursing branch program to receive and expend Medicaid funds for medically fragile children; appropriates revenues from special fund for case management services & staff training in case management services

Establishes the offense of sexual exploitation of a minor. Authorizes action against a license and property forfeiture based upon a conviction of this offense, creates offense of failure to maintain age verification records of exotic dancers.

RELATING TO ACCESS FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

Adds the requirements of the Federal Fair Housing Amendments Act rules to the design requirements for State and county construction projects; clarifies application of state law to federal projects.
