A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

making an appropriation to study emergency medical services for mililani and waipio gentry areas.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $          , or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2005-2006, and the same sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2006-2007 as a grant-in-aid to the city and county of Honolulu to study the need, cost, and placement site for a permanent emergency medical services hub for the Mililani and Waipio Gentry areas on Oahu.

SECTION 2. The sum appropriated shall be expended by the department of emergency services of the city and county of Honolulu for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2005.
