A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

making an appropriation for the clean up of the state land bordering the beach area of west LOCH.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $500,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2005-2006, and the same sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2006-2007, for the clean up and improvement of the state land bordering the beach area of West Loch in Waipahu on the island of Oahu to make the area an attractive site for passive recreational purposes.

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of transportation for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2005.
