Requires motor vehicle dealers to possess or have the right to possess a legal ownership certificate for a motor vehicle before selling a new or used vehicle or advertising a new or used vehicle for sale.  (SD1)

RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLE EXPRESS WARRANTY ENFORCEMENT.

Amends Hawaii's lemon law to include motorcycles in the definition of "motor vehicles".  (SD1)

Proposes housekeeping amendments to clarify and streamline business registration laws.  (SD1)

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW

 

Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing with a transmittal cover indicating:

·     The Committee the comments are directed to;

Testimony submitted will be placed on the Legislative Web site after the hearing adjourns.  This public posting of testimony on the Web site should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
