Measure Title:	RELATING TO THE HAWAII TOURISM AUTHORITY.
Report Title:	Hawaii Tourism Authority; Procurement; Tourism Emergency; TAT
Description:	Requires convention center construction contracts to be subject to certain provisions of the procurement code. Transfers tourism research and statistics functions from the department of business, economic development, and tourism to the Hawaii tourism authority (HTA). Removes ex-officio members from the HTA Board and places them in an advisory group to HTA. Expands the scope of a tourism emergency. Provides additional funds to the tourism special fund for one fiscal year. Technical amendments. Effective on July 1, 2009. (CD2)
