RELATING TO AGRICULTURE.

Authorizes the Department of Agriculture (DOA) to establish an Agricultural Safety and Security Program.  Requires, under the program, DOA to conduct audit and certification services.  Specifies that the Program is voluntary for producers.  Requires the charge of fees and expenses.  Establishes an Agricultural Practices Audit and Certification Revolving Fund for the Program.  Effective July 1, 2030.  (HB1947 HD2)

RELATING TO INVASIVE SPECIES.

RELATING TO AGRICULTURE.

Allows moneys in the pest inspection, quarantine, and eradication fund to be expended for the Electronic Importer Manifest Program.  Makes an appropriation for the program.  Effective July 1, 2030. (HB1942 HD2)

RELATING TO AGRICULTURE.

Amends the important agricultural land qualified agricultural cost tax credit to allow an additional fifteen per cent credit for drought mitigation and change the tax credit cap from $7,500,000 per year to $5,000,000 per year for the 2012 tax year and $7,000,000 per year for the 2013, 2014, and 2015 tax years.  Creates a livestock feed tax credit for 2012.  Creates livestock feed development tax credit program from January 1, 2013, to December 31, 2014.  (HB2668 HD2)

RELATING TO STATE FUNDS.

Authorizes the transfer during fiscal year 2012-13 of $140,000 from the Agricultural Loan Revolving Fund to the Pest Inspection, Quarantine, and Eradication Fund.  Appropriates $140,000 for a program to control and eradicate the coffee borer beetle.  Effective July 1, 2012.  (HB283 HD1)

RELATING TO AGRICULTURE.

Removes the requirement that all Hawaii-grown green coffee beans shall be inspected and certified by the Department of Agriculture unless otherwise specified by rules of the Department.  Removes the requirement that no Hawaii-grown green coffee beans shall be shipped outside the area of their geographic origin unless they have been inspected by the Department of Agriculture.  (HB280 HD1)
