Status

RELATING TO ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENTS.

Permanently amends chapter 343, Hawaii Revised Statutes, to clarify current exemptions for secondary actions and require that applicants prepare environmental assessments when required.  (SB2873 HD2)

Status

RELATING TO WASTEWATER.

Requires counties to permit the use of an otherwise authorized individual wastewater treatment system when it pre-dates a county-operated wastewater treatment system and the county determines that allowing the individual wastewater treatment system is fair and equitable.  Requires counties to adopt rules or ordinances no later than 12/31/13.  (SD1)
