The following measure has been added to the agenda: HB271
RELATING TO PROPERTY INSURANCE Proposed HD2: Limits the total number of property insurance policies that an insurer may non-renew in a lava zone for each calendar year to five per cent of the total number of covered policies of the insurer in force in that lava zone when a state of emergency exists. Lifts the moratorium of residential property insurance for the Hawaii Property Insurance Association on property situated in lava zones where the Mayor of the County of Hawaii has issued a proclamation declaring a state of emergency exists due to the threat of imminent disaster from a lava flow.

The committee is reconsidering previous action taken on 2/25/15 regarding HB253, HD1
RELATING TO VACCINATIONS. Authorizes pharmacists to administer vaccines to persons between 14 and 17 years of age who have a prescription from a collaborating physician or advanced practice registered nurse. Expands authority of advanced practice registered nurses to do certain health care procedures and services. (HB253 HD1)

RELATING TO TIME SHARING. Provides cancellation rights to persons who contract to buy a short-term product in Hawaii. Allows disbursement of purchasers' funds to a developer; provided that the developer first posts a bond, letter of credit, or other financial assurance. (HB271 HD1)

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW
Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony no later than 24 hours prior to the hearing. Persons submitting testimony on the day of the hearing MUST submit 22 copies at the hearing. Staff will not be able to make copies. Testimony should indicate:

Testimony submitted will be placed on the legislative website. This public posting of testimony on the website should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
