A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

RELATING TO APPROPRIATIONS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $         or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2015-2016 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2016-2017 for a grant-in-aid for the department of the prosecuting attorney of the city and county of Honolulu for the career criminal prosecution unit, including the hiring of necessary staff.

     SECTION 2.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $         or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2015-2016 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2016-2017 for a grant-in-aid for the department of the prosecuting attorney of the city and county of Honolulu for the victim witness assistance program, including the hiring of necessary staff.

     SECTION 3.  The sums appropriated in sections 1 and 2 shall be expended by the department of the prosecuting attorney of the city and county of Honolulu for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 4.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2030.
