A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

making appropriations to the county of kauai office of the prosecuting attorney.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $129,561 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2015-2016 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2016-2017 for a grant-in-aid to the county of Kauai, office of the prosecuting attorney, for the career criminal prosecution unit, including the hiring of necessary staff.

     SECTION 2.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $51,163 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2015-2016 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2016-2017 for a grant-in-aid to the county of Kauai, office of the prosecuting attorney for the victim witness assistance program, including the hiring of necessary staff.

     SECTION 3.  The sums appropriated shall be expended by the county of Kauai, office of the prosecuting attorney for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 4.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2015.
