DECISION MAKING ON THE FOLLOWING MEASURE(S):
RELATING TO PRESCRIPTIVE AUTHORITY FOR CERTAIN PSYCHOLOGISTS. Beginning on July 1, 2018, enables the board of psychology to accept applications for prescriptive authority privilege and grant prescriptive authority to prescribing psychologists who meet specific education, training, and registration requirements. Requires the board of psychology to submit a report to the legislature prior to the convening of the regular session of 2020. (SD1)

RELATING TO PUBLIC HOUSING. Authorizes the Public Housing Authority to impose maximum rental periods of five years for state low-income housing projects which receive state funds for repair and maintenance or capital improvement, provided that the maximum rental periods do not apply to tenants who are disabled or 65 years of age or older. Requires rates for the five-year rentals to be fixed for entire term of lease. Establishes a trust account for the Authority to provide matching funds for tenants who choose to participate in those five-year rentals. Authorizes GO bonds. Appropriates funds. (HB2638 HD1)

RELATING TO FUNDS. Transfers excess revenues from the bureau of conveyances special fund to the Hawaii historic preservation special fund. Makes an appropriation for an integrated information management system and document digitization for the State's historic preservation division. Effective 6/29/16 (SD2 PROPOSED)

RELATING TO PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT. Prohibits the State from hiring persons pursuant to section 7677(8), HRS, for more than an unspecified number of terms of ninety consecutive days or less in a fully general-funded position. Provides for limited exceptions. Effective January 7, 2059. (SD1)

RELATING TO PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT. Requires departments to obtain approval from the governor for employment of temporary hires for periods of greater than two consecutive terms of eighty-nine days. Abolishes positions filled by temporary employees for more than twenty-four consecutive months. (SD2 Proposed)
