RELATING TO PUBLIC MEETINGS. Establishes a working group to develop solutions to the potential administrative burden of public disclosure of the board packet prior to the meeting. The working group shall report to the Legislature before the 2018 Regular Session. Requires, among other things, electronic posting of meeting notices, cancellation notices, and meeting minutes. Establishes notice and disclosure requirements for emergency meetings. (HB165 HD1)

RELATING TO PUBLIC AGENCY MEETINGS. Allows board members to transmit government records to other board members under specified conditions. (HB308 HD1)

RELATING TO PUBLIC RECORDS. Provides that upon request from a public agency, OIP may under certain conditions declare a person a vexatious records requester and restrict the person's rights under the Uniform Information Practices Act. Establishes processes to appeal the declaration of a person as a vexatious records requester. Repeals on June 30, 2020. (HB1518 HD1)

RELATING TO PROCUREMENT. Prohibits bid shopping and bid peddling for the competitive sealed bidding process. Prohibits the bidder from listing more than one subcontractor for each scope of work identified, unless subcontractors vary with bid alternates. (HB573 HD1)

RELATING TO PROCUREMENT. Requires public procurement construction bids to list subcontractors and joint contractors only for contracts with an unspecified total value; provided that bids lacking this list may be accepted if in the State's best interest. (HB1229 HD1)
