Report Title: Taxation; Tax Preparers; Tax Administration; Penalty and Enforcement; Conformity
Description: Deters tax fraud and conforms Hawaii tax law to the Internal Revenue Code for tax preparers and tax return accuracy-related issues, promotes expedited tax appeals, authorizes the Department of Taxation to adopt temporary rules, and clarifies taxpayer rights with respect to tax appeals. (HB1739 CD1)
