Measure Title: RELATING TO AQUATIC RESOURCES.
Report Title: Aquatic Resources; Maka‘i O Ke Kai Program; Established ($)
Description: Encourages the department of land and natural resources to work with local communities to manage near shore reef resources through the maka‘i o ke kai program. Provides grants for community-based marines resource management. Establishes the community-based marine resource management advisory committee to advise the department of land and natural resources' on resource management and fisheries' rules. Makes appropriations. (SD2)
