Measure Title: RELATING TO HOMELESSNESS.
Report Title: Homelessness; HHFDC; Hale Kokua Pilot Project
Description: Establishes the Hale Kokua Project, a homeless assistance pilot project under the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation, to provide incentives and assistance to City and County of Honolulu private homeowners who set aside existing dwelling units, or construct new or improve existing dwelling units, for rent to homeless families or individuals for a five-year period. Establishes an advisory Homeless Housing Assistance Coordinating Committee. Requires interim and final reports to the Legislature. (HB2409 HD1)
