                   A  BILL  FOR  AN  ACT

RELATING TO TRAFFIC LAW ENFORCEMENT.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 1      SECTION 1.  Chapter 291D, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is
 
 2 repealed.
 
 3      SECTION 2.  The following sections of the Hawaii Revised
 
 4 Statutes that were amended or repealed by Act 214, Session Laws
 
 5 of Hawaii 1993, are reenacted in the form in which they appeared
 
 6 on June 30, 1994:  sections 286-25, 286-61, 286-82, 286-136,
 
 7 286-138, 286-210, 287-44, 290-12, 291C-111, 291C-130, 291C-141,
 
 8 291C-161, 291C-166, 291C-167, 291C-168, 291C-171, and 291C-206.
 
 9      SECTION 3.  Section 286-128, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is
 
10 reenacted in the form in which it appeared on December 31, 1994.
 
11      SECTION 4.  This Act does not affect rights and duties that
 
12 matured, penalties that were incurred, and proceedings that were
 
13 begun, before its effective date.
 
14      SECTION 5.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 1999.
