Sir:

     Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred H.C.R. No.
205, H.D. 1, entitled: 

     "HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION ENCOURAGING THE DEPARTMENT OF
     AGRICULTURE AND THE DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS, ECONOMIC
     DEVELOPMENT, AND TOURISM TO DEVELOP A PLAN TO CULTIVATE
     AGRICULTURAL CROPS AND PRODUCTS TO PROMOTE THE CONCEPT OF
     HAWAII AS A HEALTH STATE,"

begs leave to report as follows:

     The purpose of this concurrent resolution is to encourage
the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Business,
Economic Development, and Tourism to investigate the feasibility
of using agricultural products and tourism in furthering the
concept of "Hawaii, the Health State", with the goal of
developing a health industry.

     As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your
Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your
Committee concurs with the intent and purpose of H.C.R. No. 205,
