H.B. 159      RELATING TO WHISTLEBLOWER PROTECTION                 LRE, JDC
H.D. 2        Amends  the   Whistleblowers'   Protection  Act  by
           expanding areas of protected  conduct and the types
           of reportable  violations.    Also  strengthens the
           remedies available to  whistleblowers and increases
           penalties for violators.
           (Companion: S.B. 235 S.D. 2)

H.B. 266      RELATING TO NEW MOTHERS BREASTFEEDING                LRE, JDC
H.D. 2        PROMOTION AND PROTECTION ACT
           Requires the  State  Commission  on  the  Status of
           Women to  accumulate,  compile,  and published data
           concerning  instances  of  discrimination involving
           breastfeeding  or  expressing   breastmilk  in  the
           workplace.  Prohibits  an  employer from penalizing
           an employee who  breastfeeds  or  expresses milk at
           the workplace.
           (Companion: S.B. 189 S.D. 1)

H.B. 1142     RELATING TO ENVIRONMENT                              LRE, JDC
H.D. 3        Places certification of cesspool pumping firms with
           the  Department  of  Health.    Makes  explicit the
           Department  of  Health's  authority  to  deal  with
           recycled  water.     Defines  "recycled  water"  or
           "reclaimed water" to mean wastewater that be design
           has  been  treated  at  a  treatment  works  and is
           intended or used for a beneficial purpose.

H.B. 1595     RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF SPECIAL PURPOSE          LRE, WAM
H.D. 1        REVENUE BONDS TO ASSIST WASTE PROCESSING 
           ENTERPRISES
           Authorizes the issuance  of special purpose revenue
           bonds to assist waste processing enterprises.
