SB 2041    RELATING TO ELECTRONIC COMMERCE          EDU/CPN, JDC
           Clarifies the  legal  status  of electronic records
           and  electronic  signatures   in   the  context  of
           contract formation. 

SB 3070    RELATING TO CYBER-TERRORISM              CPN/EDU, JDC
           Creates the offenses  of  cyber-terrorism  of a law
           enforcement officer and cyber-terrorism. (Mizuguchi
           (BR))

SB 3156    RELATING TO HIGH SPEED CONNECTIVITY      CPN/EDU, WAM
           Creates incentives  for  internet service providers
           and  telecommunications  companies  to  extend high
           speed connectivity throughout the State. (Ihara)

SB 2926    RELATING TO THE UNIFORM ELECTRONIC            CPN/EDU
           TRANSACTIONS ACT
           Gives electronic  records  and  signatures the same
           legal  status  as  paper  records  and  handwritten
           signatures.  (Mizuguchi (BR))

SB 2385    RELATING TO THE UNIFORM COMPUTER         EDU/CPN, WAM
           INFORMATION TRANSACTIONS ACT
           Adopts    the    Uniform    Computer    Information
           Transactions  Act  of  the  National  Conference of
           Commissioners   on   Uniform    Laws   to   provide
           requirements for  computer information transactions
           involving an agreement to create, modify, transfer,
           or license  computer  information  or informational
           rights in computer information.   (D. Ige / Iwase /
