SB 2317       RELATING TO BOARDS OF WATER SUPPLY           TIA/LRE,WAM
           Provides  power  to  boards   of  water  supply  in
           counties with a population  of more than 500,000 to
           restructure  and  reorganize   for  more  efficient
           service. (Kawamoto)

decision making on this measure on Thursday, February 17, 2000 at 1:00
p.m. in conference room 225.)

SB 2616       RELATING TO PREFERENCE TO OFFERORS ON        GOH/TIA,WAM
           COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTS
           Authorizes  the  counties  to  give  preference  to
           county taxpayers on  county public works contracts.

(Please note:  The Committee on Government Operations and Housing will
hold its decision making on this measure on Thursday, February 17,
2000 at 2:00 p.m. in conference room 224.)


SB 2314       RELATING TO INTOXICATING LIQUOR             TIA/JDC, WAM
           Suspends driver's license of  minors under 18 for 6
           months, requires  community  service and attendance
           at   alcohol   education   program   for  violating
           intoxicating liquor law involving minors.  Provides
           similar penalties  for  violators  aged  18  to 21.
           Suspends license  for  1  year  for repeat offense.
           Appropriates $50,000 for alcohol and drug education
           programs.
