HB 2822  RELATING TO SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS          EDU, WAM
HD1     Appropriates funds for fiscal year 2000-2001 to the
        School Administrator Program. (Ito)

HB 2763  MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR TEACHER EDUCATION EDU, WAM
HD1     Appropriates funds for the teacher certification
        program on Kauai. (Kawakami)

HB 2491  RELATING TO SCHOOL LUNCH                   EDU, WAM
HD1     Requires the price of school lunches to be one-third
        the total cost of preparing the lunch. (Say (BR))

HB 2040  RELATING TO EDUCATION                      EDU, WAM
HD1     Establishes a Safety Pilot Program; appropriates
        funding. (Takai, etc.)

HB 2492  RELATING TO EDUCATION                      EDU, WAM
HD1     Retains and carries over up to five percent of
        appropriations for EDN 150 (comprehensive school
        support services program).  Transfers funds from EDN
        100 (school-based budgeting program) to EDN 150.
        Requires the department of education to submit a
        report regarding the carryover of funds, to the
        director of finance ninety days after the close of
        each fiscal year and prepared in the form prescribed
        by the director.  (Say (BR))

Persons wishing to testify should submit 25 copies (single sided,
no holes) of their testimony to the committee clerk, Room 207,
State Capitol, 24 hours prior to the hearing. Testimony may also
be faxed if less than 5 pages in length, to the Senate Sergeant-
At-Arms Office at 586-6659 or 1-800-586-6659 (toll free for
neighbor islands), at least 24 hours prior to the hearing.  When
faxing, please indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted,
the date and time of the hearing, and the required number of
copies needed for submittal.

If you require special assistance or auxiliary aids or services
to participate in the public hearing process (i.e., sign language
interpreter, wheelchair accessibility, or parking designated for
the disabled), please contact the committee clerk 24 hours prior
to the hearing so arrangements can be made.

Public Folder.  A folder labeled "Public Folder" containing the
measures and testimonies for the hearing will be available for
shared use by members of the public.
