SB 2062  RELATING TO LONG TERM CARE             HSH/CPC, LMG, FIN
   SD1 Amends Act 93,SLH 1999, to extend actuarialstudy on
      long-term care from November 15, 1999, to Novermber 15,
      2001; to extend sunset date of joint committee from June
      30.2000, to June 30, 2002; to clarify requirements for
      the actuarial study; and to make unspecified
      appropriations for the study and JLC expenses.  (SD1)

SB 2847  RELATING TO PROSPECTIVE ADOPTIVE PARENTS   HSH, JHA, FIN
   SD2 Requires "prospective adoptive parents" to have criminal
      history records checks.  Authorizes and contracts for
      home studies.  (SD2)

                 DECISION-MAKING TO FOLLOW

Persons wishing to testify are requested to submit 30 copies of
their testimony 24 hours prior to the hearing to (1) the

 
Committee's Vice Chair in Room 328, State Capitol; or (2) the
House Sgt-at-Arms personnel in the turnaround area of the Capitol
basement parking lot.  Testimony may be faxed to the House Sgt-

Islands).  When faxing, please indicate to whom the testimony is
being submitted, the date and time of the hearing and the
required number of copies needed for submittal.

assistance or auxillary aids and/or services to participate in
the public hearing process of the State House (i.e., sign
language interpreter, wheelchair accessibility, or parking
