RELATING TO EMPLOYMENT. Requires employers to grant paid leave of absence to employees for donating bone marrow. |

SB 43 |
RELATING TO the employees' retirement system. Gives current conservation and resources law enforcement officers of the department of land and natural resources the option of converting from class C to class A members of the Employees' Retirement System (ERS). Allows officers to retire without penalty after 25 years of service in that capacity. Provides that all officers hired after June 30, 2001, are to be designated class A members. |

Further, because SB 471 has been deleted from the agenda, the Committee on Health and Human Services will not be in attendance and will not be participating in the above-referenced hearing.
