Appropriates funds to complete the fencing of Lana`i's critical and sole watershed area for preservation of indigenous ecosystems and the island's drinking water source. (English)

Authorizes issuance of GO Bonds for Hana Small Boat Harbors, including $250,000 for road repairs and $1.5 million to replace launch ramp and new loading dock. (English)

Establishes a process in which the State and counties are provided protection from liability relating to recreational activities on improved and unimproved public lands. (Bunda BR)

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW, IF TIME PERMITS.

Persons wishing to testify should submit 25 copies of their testimony to the committee clerk, Room 201, State Capitol during regular business hours, or outside the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Office, Room 015, State Capitol for all other times, 24 hours prior to the hearing. When faxing, please indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for submittal.
