RELATING TO INSURANCE.

Requires health insurers to treat a bona fide trade association (BFTA) and its members as a single group at the option of the BFTA for the purpose of issuing a health insurance policy, while allowing members of the BFTA to opt out and obtain their own insurance. Prohibits the health insurer from requiring the BFTA to offer only that insurer's plan. Defines BFTA. (HB2408 HD2)

RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLE INSURANCE.

Adds naturopathy to the personal injury protection benefits provided in a motor vehicle insurance policy. Generally imposes the same limitations on naturopathy benefits as currently apply to chiropractic and acupuncture treatment. (HB1717 HD2)

RELATING TO CONDOMINIUM PROPERTY REGIMES.

Amends provisions of the condominium law establishing procedures for the alteration or change in use of common elements, by referencing the exemption from those procedures in section 514A-13.4, HRS, for installation of telecommunications equipment. (HB1729 HD1)

RELATING TO THE UNIFORM COMMERCIAL CODE.

Replaces article 1 of Uniform Commercial Code with a new article substantially as proposed by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws, with two differences; effective July 1, 2099. (HB1259 HD1)
