The purpose of this informational briefing is to hear a presentation given by John Holt, member of Transforming Lives Network.

 

John Holt majored in Education at Trent University, UK and after a career as a business owner and teacher of accelerated learning methods, moved to the United States in 1994 to take up a post as Director of Research and Development for a United States corporation.  Now retired, he and his wife and three adult children live in California.  John is a member of the Correctional Education Association and a member of the advisory committee of the Transforming Lives Network, the distance learning service of CEA used by over 250 correctional facilities in the United States.  The Transforming Lives Network will be available in all Hawaii prisons.  John Holt is starting out a series of visits to prison in the United States, which includes Hawaii.
