A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

RELATING TO HAWAII PUBLIC PROCUREMENT CODE.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  Chapter 103D, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to part III to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:

     "§103D‑    Exemption for General Services Administration-approved vendor.  The chief procurement officer upon a request by the purchasing agency, may exempt the agency from section 103D-302, 103D-303, or 103D-304, as applicable, for a procurement in which the bidder or offeror is a United States General Services Administration-approved vendor, and the procurement is funded by state and federal matching funds."

     SECTION 2.  New statutory material is underscored.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2112.
