A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

RELATING TO HARBORS FIREBOAT.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  Section 266-22, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended to read as follows:

     "§266-22  Maintenance of fire boat.  The cost of operating and maintaining the fire boat [transferred to the city and county of Honolulu under Act 175 of the Session Laws of 1951 by and through the city and county of Honolulu] shall be borne by the department of transportation.  For this purpose, the department shall pay annually from its special fund [to the city and county of Honolulu the annual cost]."

     SECTION 2.  Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken.  New statutory material is underscored.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2012.
