RELATING TO URBAN ART.

Authorizes a director of a state department to permit an individual or individuals to create urban art on property owned in fee simple by the State that is under the jurisdiction of the director's department.  Requires a director who authorizes urban art, in consultation with the state foundation on culture and the arts, to select individuals to create the urban art.

Status & Testimony

RELATING TO GOVERNMENT.

Provides that counties may allow bicycle motocross activities at public skateboard parks. Specifies that counties are not prohibited from constructing or designating county facilities for bicycle motocross parks.  Limits the liability of the counties, the State, and volunteers for damages or injuries that result from bicycle motocross activities at public skateboard parks and bicycle motocross parks.

Status & Testimony

RELATING TO INDUSTRIAL HEMP RESEARCH.

Allows privately funded industrial hemp research to be conducted in Hawaii under certain conditions; requires monitoring by department of public safety; requires reporting to county law enforcement; exempts agronomic data derived from research from public records disclosure; confers immunity from criminal prosecution for the research.  Effective 7/1/2050.
