RELATING TO THE PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL SPACE CENTER FOR EXPLORATION SYSTEMS SUSTAINABLE CONCRETE INITIATIVE.

Appropriates funds to support the investigative stage of the Pacific international space center for exploration systems sustainable concrete initiative, contingent upon a dollar-for-dollar match from other sources.  Effective 07/01/2050.  (SD1)

RELATING TO THE ACCESS HAWAII COMMITTEE.

Designates the chief information officer or the chief information officer's designee to serve on and chair the access Hawaii committee.  Requires the access Hawaii committee to include the portal manager's financial reports in its annual report to the legislature.  (SD1).

RELATING TO INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY.

Authorizes the Chief Information to conduct or cause to be conducted security audits, which may include reviews of physical security practices, of all executive branch agencies regarding the protection of government databases and data communications and to direct remedial actions as necessary.  Effective 07/01/2050.  (SD2)

RELATING TO FIBER OPTICS.

Requires installation of fiber optic cable systems in new condominiums and planned communities.  Effective January 1, 2018.  (SD1)

RELATING TO LIQUOR TAX LAW.

Defines "barrel" and "small brewery or brewpub."  Establishes a tax rate of $0.23 per wine gallon on draft beer and beer other than draft beer that is brewed or produced by a small brewery or brewpub.  Effective 07/01/2050.  (SD2)

Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing.  Testimony should indicate:

·     Testifier's name with position/title and organization;

·     The Committee(s) to which the comments are directed;

·     The date and time of the hearing; and

·     Measure number. 

 

While every effort will be made to incorporate all testimony received, materials received on the day of the hearing or improperly identified or directed, may be distributed to the Committee after the hearing.

Testimony submitted will be placed on the legislative website after the hearing adjourns.  This public posting of testimony on the website should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
