RELATING TO CABLE TELEVISION SYSTEMS. Deletes the requirement that the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs conduct annual management and financial audits of designated public, educational, or governmental access channels. Removes the sunset provision in Act 19, Session Laws of Hawaii 2011, thereby permanently allowing the Director of Commerce and Consumer Affairs to designate an access organization in each franchise area to oversee public, educational, and governmental channels and requiring the Cable Advisory Committee to advise the director and access organizations on certain matters. RELATING TO CHANGE OF NAME. Allows family court in divorce proceeding to change minor child's name if the court determines that either parent has sexually abused the child and the change of name is in the best interest of the child. Effective July 1, 2080. (SB2223 HD1)

RELATING TO THE PROTECTION OF CHARITABLE ASSETS. Grants oversight authority to the attorney general over charitable assets regardless of the form in which they are held. Authorizes the attorney general to enforce the application of the charitable asset to prevent or remedy the misapplication, diversion, waste, or breach of duty in management of a charitable asset. Effective December 21, 2112. (SB2368 HD1)

· Testifier's name with position/title and organization;
· The Committee(s) to which the comments are directed;
· The date and time of the hearing; and
· Measure number.
While every effort will be made to incorporate all testimony received, materials received on the day of the hearing or improperly identified or directed, may be distributed to the Committee after the hearing.

Testimony submitted will be placed on the legislative website. This public posting of testimony on the website should be considered when including personal information in your testimony. Those wishing to provide oral testimony will be limited to two minutes.
