RELATING TO PUBLIC HOUSING.

Authorizes the Hawaii public housing authority to establish a work study program with the University of Hawaii Myron B. Thompson school of social work and allow the work study program to be implemented at each public housing project and state low-income public housing project.  Effective 7/1/2015.  (SD1)

RELATING TO CHILD ABUSE.

Establishes an internet crimes against children fee upon each felony or misdemeanor conviction.  Requires deposit of the fees into an internet crimes against children special fund to provide training and resources for local law enforcement agencies' and investigators' use in investigating and prosecuting internet crimes against children.  (SD1)

RELATING TO HEALTH COVERAGE FOR BRAIN INJURIES.

Requires certain insurance contracts and plans to provide coverage beginning 1/1/2014 for treatment of brain injuries, including cognitive and neurocognitive therapy, neurobehavioral and neuropsychological testing or treatment, and necessary post-acute transition services or community reintegration activities for a period of at least twenty years from the date the injury occurred and up to a lifetime cap per person of $300,000.  Takes effect 7/1/2050.  (SD1)
