A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

making an appropriation to the Hawaii county office of the prosecuting attorney.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $187,118 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2015-2016 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2016-2017 for the county of Hawaii office of the prosecuting attorney career criminal prosecution unit, including the hiring of staff.

     The sums appropriated shall be expended by the county of Hawaii for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 2.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $136,139 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2015-2016 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2016-2017 for the county of Hawaii office of the prosecuting attorney victim awareness assistance program, including hiring of necessary staff.

     The sums appropriated shall be expended by the county of Hawaii for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2015.
