RELATING TO ALTERNATIVE HOUSING.

Requires and appropriates funds for the department of land and natural resources, in consultation with the department of human services, to establish mobile home parks throughout the State for individuals whose family income is no more than 250 per cent of the federal poverty level. Allows private sector to develop mobile home parks.

RELATING TO HOUSING.

Funds various homelessness service programs. Mandates the establishment of the pilot Return-to-Home Program. Transfers administrative responsibility for the Homeless Assistance Working Group from DHS to the Legislature. Requires chairpersons of the committees on human services of the Senate and the House of Representatives to convene the Homeless Assistance Working Group.

Appropriates funds to the department of human services to continue to administer housing first programs for chronically homeless individuals.

Establishes the housing first voucher program within the Department of Human Services. Appropriates general funds to the Housing First Special Fund to implement the program.

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW
