RELATING TO PROCUREMENT.

Provides for the establishment of a special procurement process for the procurement of goods and services.  Requires the establishment of procedures by the Procurement Policy Board for use of the special procurement process by rules. (HB2053 HD1)

RELATING TO PROCUREMENT.

Requires all Chief Procurement Officers to assist and cooperate with any compliance review by the State Procurement Administrator.  Clarifies that the Administrator has the authority to perform periodic compliance reviews of all governmental bodies.  (HB2060 HD1)

RELATING TO CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS.

Requires the State Procurement Office, in conjunction with the Department of Accounting and General Services, to conduct an analysis and review of the Hawaii Public Procurement Code, specifically with regard to the awarding of construction contracts.  Appropriates an unspecified amount of funds for the analysis and review.  (HB2544 HD2)
