RELATING TO AWARDED FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY HAZARD MITIGATION GRANT.

Appropriates $75,000 to DAGS to update statewide standards for hurricane mitigation.  Anticipates full reimbursement by a Federal Emergency Management Agency hazard mitigation grant awarded to DAGS.

RELATING TO STATEWIDE INTEROPERABLE PUBLIC SAFETY COMMUNICATIONS.

Establishes a statewide interoperability executive board for public safety communications.  Finances the board through surcharges on traffic violations.

RELATING TO LIQUOR.

Amends statutory language on liquor license application and operating procedures for clarity.

RELATING TO FIREARMS.

Requires that certain agencies be notified when a firearm permit application is denied because the applicant is prohibited from owning, possessing, receiving, or controlling a firearm under federal or state law.
