A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

relating to health.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $250,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2017-2018 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2018-2019 for the purchase of an ambulance vehicle and the operational costs for one ambulance unit, including equipment, supplies, and personnel costs for state-certified emergency medical service personnel for the Honolulu emergency medical services division of the city and county of Honolulu department of emergency services for use in Ewa Beach.

     The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of health for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 2.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $120,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2017-2018 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2018-2019 for rent and other associated costs for an emergency medical services station in Ewa Beach.

     The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of health for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2017.

Description:
