A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE FORTY-FIFTH REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2018-2019.
1. To be expended by the department of education:
A. Waialua high and intermediate school, Oahu
Plans, design, and construction for the relocation of the school visitor parking area.

B. Waialua high and intermediate school, Oahu
Plans, design, and construction for new men's and women's restrooms at the football stadium.

Plans, design, construction, equipment, and furniture for the STEM innovation center and the STEM learning center.

D. Waialua high and intermediate school, Oahu
Plans, design, and construction for new rubber track for track and field, cross country, and physical education.

E. Mililani Uka elementary school, Oahu
Portable restroom for grade one students.
Total funding $750,000
F. Daniel K. Inouye elementary school, Oahu
Design and construction for parking lot expansion.

2. To be expended by the city and county of Honolulu:
Plans, design, and construction of a bike path between Waialua Elementary School and Waialua High and Intermediate School on both sides of Goodale Avenue from Farrington Highway to Waialua Beach Road.

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2018.
