RELATING TO PRODUCTS CONTAINING SUN PROTECTION FACTOR INGREDIENTS.

Requires that, beginning 1/1/2023, only sunscreen products containing active ingredients classified by the United States Food and Drug Administration as a category I, generally recognized as safe and effective, ingredient, shall be sold, offered for sale, or distributed for sale in the State.

RELATING TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT LAW.

Requires a supplemental environmental assessment or supplemental environmental impact statement after the passage of 15 years from the date of the acceptance of the statement or the determination of a finding of no significant impact, if the proposed action is not completed.

      Status & Testimony

RELATING TO SHARK PROTECTION.

Establishes an offense of knowingly capturing, taking, possessing, abusing, entangling, or killing a shark in state marine waters, along with penalties and fines.  Provides certain exemptions.

RELATING TO LEAD-BASED PAINT.

Prohibits the use of lead-based paint on outdoor structures after 12/31/21.

RELATING TO LITTER CONTROL.

Prohibits the intentional release of balloons inflated with a gas that is lighter than air.

RELATING TO WASTE.

Requires high-rise condominium property to provide at least one waste cooking oil receptacle in an easily accessible location on the property to allow residents to deposit grease and waste cooking oil.
